From 2007 Supélec aims to:
- Reinforce partnerships consistent with its poles of competitiveness with foreign institutions which are world leaders in their fields,
- Promote emerging fields : life sciences and regulated network economics
- Attract leading scientists to enhance its fields of excellence
- Earn and maintain certification labels: ISO 9001:2000, Carnot, EURACE,..
- Increase the number of international laboratories
- Build a core institution of higher education and research in France in conjunction with the Ecole Centrale de Paris, which would deliver 1500 engineering degrees and 200 PhDs annually.
