Its ambition
The ambition of the Foundation will be fulfilled in a succession of stages beginning as of now:
- 2008: acquire autonomy by becoming a state-approved foundation:
o pursuing a wider objective,
o able to receive donations of all kinds,
o master of its policy of generating a return from its assets.

- 2007 to 2025: raise €200m at a rate of €10m per year with the whole Supélec

- Concretely, the Foundation will be called upon to support projects selected in accordance with the four criteria defined by its scientific council:
o Scientific quality
o Ability to carry out a project
o Appropriateness to the Foundation's criteria
o Consequences for the School.
