- The Supélec Foundation was created in 2003 by the FIEEC, ABB, EDF, RTE, Schlumberger, Schneider Electric and the Amicale des Ingénieurs Supélec for the purpose of helping the School to develop and expand internationally.
- It was supported by the Ministry of Research in its capacity as a Research Foundation
- Funds raised since its creation : € 12m as of end October 2007
